Seasonally relevant and Midwest-related content can be submitted by our readers and we highly value the interest and expertise that local stories bring to the table. Our definition of the Midwest includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, + Wisconsin.
Submissions Issue 11 our 2019 Spring + Summer edition, are open through Monday, February 4th.

Driftless is completely ad-free, and by paying the submission fee you help ensure we can continue printing physical copies of the magazine. You’ll also receive a complimentary issue for submitting.
Want to bypass the submission fee? Subscribe to our magazine and submit for free!
Visual — Submit print-ready full resolution images, sized to a minimum of 3000px on the longest side, 300 dpi, sRGB, jpeg or TIFF format (link to file upload can be found in the submission form).
Written — Submit in PDF format, and must be thoroughly proofread and edited (link to file upload can be found in the submission form).
Label all files with your name, title of the work, and numeration — lastname_firstname_title_1.
